Looking for a wine to have with dinner tonight? Or maybe you're going on a picnic and would like to know what to pick up at the local grocery store or wine shop. Or perhaps you want to give a bottle of wine as a gift.
Not everyone has the opportunity to visit a winery, so we've decided to include this page to help you select a wine 'off the shelf.'
These are wines that we have tried and rated on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest. We have given the highest rating to wines that we feel are full-bodied and taste-worthy. Rankings go down from there.
Of course as we say elsewhere on this website, we each have our individual tastes and you may not like what we like. But hopefully, our ratings will give you some guidance. Most of these wines are in the $10 to $15 range.
NOTE: Blended wines are given names by the winery.
